IN MEMORY OF PAST PRESIDENT ALEX DiLALLO

IN MEMORY OF PAST PRESIDENT ALEX DiLALLO

Alex died on Monday, February 22, 2016, after a brief illness. He was President of Lake Hadlock Association during the challenging rebuilding and refilling of the lake in 2007, 2008 and 2009.  During his presidency, Alex worked with a passion to improve and maintain the lake and the Association.   He oversaw development of committees such as the operation of the harvester, restocking fish, quality of the lake water, weed control, and surveys of lake residents’ wishes regarding the lake and its preservation.  In 2010, he became Vice President and continued to give his time and direction for the next three years to the everyday happenings on the lake.   Alex always was on duty to speak with everyone who had questions about the lake.  He was the voice of the lake.  He never was afraid to show his passion for our lake and was not hesitant to tell anyone when we were slacking off.  Alex’s goal always was what is best for the lake. He was one of the most sincere, honest and forthright people.  If it was in his mind and heart, it came to his lips and often was followed with a shrug of his shoulders, a squint in his eyes as he said: “I’m just saying!”  Thank you, Alex, for your leadership, commitment, honesty and most especially, your love for the lake.  May you rest in peace.

To Judy, Stefanie, Connie, and Allison please accept the condolences of the members of Lake Hadlock Association.  A good man has left the lake and he will be missed.
